NTP stands for Network Time Protocol.  NTP is responsible for synchronizing the clock on computer systems and networks.  NTP has been around since the mid-1980s and was designed by David L. Mills of the University of Delaware.  Intrigued?  Want to know what's under the hood?  🤔
